A full-screen nag that hits when you overstay on the sites that eat your day — un-dodgeable across every tab, and it looks different every single time so muscle memory can't kill it.
Same wall, never the same look. 4 themes × 9 accents × 9 fonts × 31 memes × 500 messages — over 5 million combinations, so it never becomes wallpaper you click through on reflex.
This one fights back. Four small frictions that make weaselling past your own rules genuinely annoying.
The timer is shared per site, so opening the same site in five tabs won't buy you five fresh timers.
"Pause" isn't a button you tap — you press and hold it. Slip off and it resets. No mindless dismissing.
Every pause today makes the next one harder to earn. After the third, you type out a confession before it unlocks.
Pauses, snoozes and walk-aways are tallied for the day and shown back to you: “This would be pause #5 today. Really?”
Until you overstay. Then it's very much there.
Drop in the sites that eat your day — or block the current one with a single click from the popup.
Choose how long you're allowed on a blocked site before the nag shows up. Tune the idle-reset too.
When you overstay, the wall takes over the tab. The easy way out is always one click — staying costs you.
No account. No tracking. No analytics. The extension makes zero network requests — your blocklist, timers and daily tally never leave your device, and they're deleted the moment you uninstall. It works completely offline.
I built this because every site blocker I tried, I disabled within a week — the "blocked" page became wallpaper I clicked straight through. So I made one that refuses to become wallpaper: it changes its face every time, it makes you hold instead of click, and it keeps a tally you have to look at.
It's free, open source, and it doesn't phone home. If it buys you back an hour, it did its job.
